In 2014 we'll be selling our vegetables through a 15 week summer Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. CSA is a means of farm marketing where the customer purchases a share of the farm's produce ahead of the growing season and then receives the produce when it's ripe for the picking during the designated period in the CSA contract. In a good CSA, you will receive the best of what the farm has to offer seasonally.
Our Summer CSA
This coming summer we're offering a CSA designed to provide you with the best offerings from our vegetable gardens. For 15 weeks you'll receive ultra fresh, high quality organic produce straight from our farm. Here are the details:
One Share = $20 worth of produce per week. A sample week in late July should look like this: 1 pint of cherry tomatoes, 1 quart of green beans, 3 zucchini, 3 onions, 2 large tomatoes and one head of lettuce. Items in your share will vary weekly according to what's in season. 15 weeks/$300 per share. Sign up by February 1st and receive a discount - pay $285.
15 weeks, June 7th - September 27th (This is a span of 17 weeks. There will be 2 weeks that we skip in this time period which will be determined in the spring). Pick up will be on Friday afternoons at the farm in Taneytown or on Saturday mornings between 8 am and 12 pm at the Downtown Westminster Farmers Market.

We are planning to grow the following veggies to be included in the CSA:
Salad Mix, Head Lettuce, Beets, Swiss Chard, Kale, Radishes, Tomatoes (both large heirloom and cherry), Sweet Peppers, Basil, Green Beans, Cucumbers, Summer Squash, Zucchinni, Garlic, Onions, Potatoes, Carrots, Arugula, Broccoli and Peas.
