Tierra Blooms

This season I've been going through the process of rethinking the focus of our farm and shifting to growing more flowers for market.  At the Farmer's Market this year we've focused on flowers and our produce was distributed through our CSA program.  Next year I'm going to take the shift a bit farther and grow only cut flowers for market.  We still love to grow vegetables and will grow them for our family (and to use in arrangements!), but our sales will primarily focus on cut flowers.  Enter Tierra Blooms!

We plan to offer flowers at the Downtown Westminster Market in 2015 as well as through a Cut Flower CSA Program with different pick ups around Westminster.  We also hope to expand our marketing of flowers into the Frederick area and beyond.  Look for a link here to our new florally focused website which will have more details soon!

Growing beautiful and unique cut flowers with organic practices to bring indoors (and out!) with the purpose of showcasing the beauty of our local area has become a passion of mine over these 10 years of farming.  Flowers are used to celebrate the lush beauty of nature (life) at landmark events such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and funerals, as well as for those who seek to celebrate life daily.  The flowers I grow and the arrangements made from them celebrate the natural world and bring people closer to it.  I am thrilled to expand this passion and share it with our community.
